Couple of Test Shots with New CF settings.

New Custom Function AF settings on my Canon Camera, under dull and wet conditions.

Yes, not the most exciting, but detailed feathering.

A couple, more female I think?

I think this would qualify for a female, although with grey female, Rufus and the grey coloured male, it could to untrained Cuckoo expert not always sure....

At Last some Cuckoo's....

At last it sits still for long enough for me to rattle off a few frames.

Ants in its pants, off again.
Such lovely colours.

A Winter Woodcock on the Feed!!

We are lucky enough to own some land with a small wood attached to the property; we often get quite a diverse range of wildlife including some rarer creatures.
After a walk with Monty the dog I managed to flush one of the most elusive waders, so I decided to rig my stealth camera in an attempt to capture this most unusual and little known bird.
Needless to say, I was simply over the moon to have captured this plump sized wader feeding quite happily amongst the leaf litter in search of worms, insects and seeds.
I actually have eight 1 minute videos of this particular lady or gent! Talk about pleased, such luck considering I had chosen just the right place for it to work.

Just a Couple Shots!!

While Her Majesty's Forces are on Leave a Buzzard Stands Guard..

A random rock pool, pretty though!!

Peak-A-Boo!!!

On a rather grey day Sarah, Monty and I decided to go for a walk on our old patch, nice to see a few things but all in all a quiet one. Good to see our local Buzzard's still around and perching on his favorite tree.

Quick Trip by the River..

Grey-Wagtail, rather alert after a fellow wag flew over head calling, it later landed. and they had a chat.

Not the best reflection but nearly, such a pretty bird.

A Sunday walk on the Cliff's.

A beautiful Comma.

Adult Grey Seal - Keeping a watchful eye on the pup below.

I kept a very good distance as not to upset such a cute pup, and more importantly the mother.
